Johnson <DQ>in good spirits<DQ> Jockey Richard Johnson, who broke his leg in a horrific fall at Exeter on Tuesday, was today reported to be 'in good spirits'.But he is expected to remain in hospital for another couple of days, according to the hospital.He was said to be still in a 'comfortable' condition after his operation yesterday morning.Hospital spokesman Nick Fairclough said today: 'He is in a comfortable condition and is still cheerful. Everything is fine and he is in good spirits.'Johnson suffered a break of the tibia and fibula on his right leg but they have been pinned - a mechanism to bring the bones back into alignment so they can knit together again.The jockey, who faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines, has ridden 81 winners this season but his title dreams are now certainly over.
